How to Use eSIM With UScellular
- Check whether your phone supports eSIM. Recent iPhone, Google Pixel and Samsung Galaxy models often support eSIM, but compatibility depends on the model and device configuration.
- Find the eSIM IMEI. Dial
*#06#or open your phone's settings. The eSIM identifier may be listed as IMEI 2, eSIM IMEI or Digital SIM. - Run the IMEI through UScellular's compatibility checker. Use the eSIM IMEI instead of automatically entering the phone's first IMEI.
- Unlock a bring-your-own phone. UScellular requires phones from another carrier to be unlocked before activation on the UScellular network.
- Complete activation. Connect the phone to Wi-Fi and follow the instructions from UScellular or the phone's setup process. UScellular supports activation with both physical SIM cards and eSIMs.
